| Keystones Deal Atlanta 7-3 Defeat | The Philadelphia Keystones spoiled a good performance by Atlanta second baseman Al Hubbard, bumping off Atlanta, 7-3, at Peachtree Stadium. Hubbard went 3-4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. The winning streak has now reached 4 games for Philadelphia.
Philadelphia used a clutch at-bat from Jake Butler to capture the win. The right fielder hammered a grand slam home run in the top of the fourth inning to put the Keystones ahead, 4-1. It was his lone hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.
"We'll keep playing hard and let the chips fall where they may," said Philadelphia manager Charlie Leist.
