The Chicago Cougars beat the Los Angeles Stars by a score of 10-2. Chicago catcher Chappy Sanders deserved the lion's share of the credit. Sanders was 1-3 with a home run. He scored 2 times and drove in 6 for the Cougars. With the win, Chicago has a record of 59-48. Los Angeles falls to 54-53.
