Milwaukee picked up a win at Dyckman Stadium, bumping off the New York Imperials, 5-2. Pitcher Joe Wright was a major reason the Arrows emerged victorious. Milwaukee is now 53-53. New York is 58-49.

First Baseman Rich Moyer made an impact for Milwaukee, when he swatted a run-scoring double off Jim White in the top of the third. For the contest, Moyer went 2 for 4 with a double and a walk.
