Clippers Pull Out Late Win, 3-2
The Baltimore Clippers picked up a win at Patapsco Field, topping the Atlanta Copperheads, 3-2. On the mound for Baltimore was left-hander Johnny Hugot. He played a principal role in the triumph. Baltimore reliever Larry Warren was the winner. His record is now 8-5. Jack Kotarski took the loss. Baltimore is 56-50 and Atlanta, with the loss, 68-39.

Baltimore took the lead, 3-2, on Hank Wallace's 6th home run of the season. The 2-run home run came off Atlanta pitcher Jack Kotarski in the bottom of the eighth.

"I just kind of blacked out and executed my pitches," said Hugot.
