Cleveland shortstop Gus Randall contributed significantly to his team's 7-4 win over the Montreal Saints. Randall went 2 for 4 with 1 run scored to lead the offensive attack for the Foresters. Dick Schuster earned the win after being summoned from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed no runs on 2 hits in 2 innings. He upped his record to 1-1. The 4th-place Saints have dropped 8 straight games.

Randall had a game-changing triple in the bottom of the sixth. On a 2-0 forkball from George Williams, he banged a 2-run triple to right-center, giving the Foresters a 5-4 lead. It was the 2nd triple of the year for Randall.

"Getting the win feels nice," said Randall. "More importantly, I had a good game."
