| Los Angeles Shuts Out Houston, 5-0 | Bob Hinzman was dynamite at Wilshire Park, blowing away the Houston Comets in a shutout victory. The Los Angeles Suns starter had everything working as he held the Comets to 1 hit in the 5-0 win.
"He was pure nasty out there today," said Houston skipper Glenn Carney. "I don't think any team in the league would've had a chance against what he was bringing."
Hinzman finished the game with 1 strikeout and 2 walks.
Checking out his stats for the season, Hinzman has racked up 11 wins and 7 losses in 21 starts, posted a 3.10 ERA, and struck out 74 batters in 154 innings. | |
