Cincinnati Triumphs with Late Surge
The Cincinnati Cannons picked up a win at Lakefront Park, downing the Milwaukee Arrows, 2-1. On the mound for Cincinnati was right-hander Herm Quinn, who played a pivotal role in the win. Don Oswald nailed down his 2nd save. The setback makes Milwaukee 60-46.

Cincinnati needed the clutch hitting of Milo Daniel to seal the deal. The right fielder swatted a solo home run in the top of the ninth inning to put the Cannons on top, 2-1. For the game, Daniel had 1 home run and 2 singles in 3 at-bats.

"Winning the game is always the first objective," Quinn said.
