The New York Imperials pinned a convincing loss on the Montreal Saints, 9-2, at Dyckman Stadium. Bob Scott was a main factor in the win. He went 2 for 3 with 2 singles and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for New York. The Saints, now 50-56, have lost 7 in a row.
Scott had a key at-bat in the bottom of the third to put New York in front, 4-2. With the bases loaded, he drew a walk, driving in 1 run off Montreal pitcher Allan Morris.
