Suns Rally to Win
The Los Angeles Suns defeated the Houston Comets, 4-3, in 13 innings in Federal Association action at Wilshire Park. Los Angeles pitcher Pete Meissner had a standout performance. The Suns bumped their record to 65-42 with this latest triumph.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the 13th inning, when Los Angeles second baseman Bill Perry, facing Don Lincoln, had a run-scoring sacrifice fly. It gave the Suns the 4-3 win.

"This place went bonkers at the end," Perry said.
