Free Falling Imperials Drop 10th Straight
The Milwaukee Arrows defeated the New York Imperials, 5-4, at Lakefront Park. Milwaukee left fielder Harry Edwards had a superb performance. He was 3-5 with 3 singles. The win was credited to Bud Andrews in relief. His record improves to 6-0. Stan Boone took the loss. The misery never ends for the Imperials, who've lost 10 in a row.

Byron Burnett was the walk-off hero for Milwaukee. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Arrows pinch hitter hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"We need to get back to basics," said New York manager Jim Abernathy.
