Dennis went 1-4 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. Philadelphia reliever Bobby Coy, who is tied for 8th in the FA in holds with 5, was credited with the win. His record goes to 5-1. Davey Cronin took the loss for Baltimore. Philadelphia is now 46-57, while Baltimore is 48-55.
The game was all tied up in the top of the ninth, until Dennis delivered big-time for Philadelphia, stroking a dramatic grand slam home run off Davey Cronin. The game-changing hit put the Keystones on top, 8-4.
