The Milwaukee Arrows locked up a win at Lakefront Park, knocking off the Cleveland Foresters, 7-1. On the mound for Milwaukee was right-hander Norm Sutherland. He played a major role in the triumph. With the win, Milwaukee goes to 58-45, while the Foresters fall to 46-57.

Harry Edwards, who is tied for 9th in the CA in RBI with 57, took Cleveland hurler Charlie Sawyer deep in the bottom of the first. His 2-run home run put the Arrows on top, 2-0. In all, Edwards had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 3.

"It wasn't a very good day at the ballpark," said Cleveland manager Ray Parsons.
