| Wolves Pocket 7-1 Win Against Montreal | Wet weather did not postpone the Toronto-Montreal ballgame.
Toronto Wolves pitcher Red Bullock was in top form, leading his team past the Montreal Saints, 7-1. The 4th-place Saints have lost 4 consecutive games.
Bob Reynolds had a big 3-run home run for the Wolves in the bottom of the eighth inning. With Toronto leading 4-1 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he sized up a curveball from 28-year old right-handed pitcher Brooks Mather and punished it. The result was his 7th home run of the season, which put the Wolves on top, 7-1.
"That's what this team is about," said Reynolds, "picking each other up."
