| Quinn Befuddles Milwaukee in 2-0 Cincinnati Win | Cincinnati hurler Herm Quinn put on quite a show, as he blitzed the Milwaukee Arrows with a 2-0 shutout. He baffled them with fastballs and changeups, allowing 2 hits with 11 strikeouts and 3 walks to pick up the win.
"I think every time we were looking for a fastball, he threw a changeup and every time we were looking for a changeup, he threw a fastball," Milwaukee manager Randy Hendrix told reporters after the game.
Thus far this season, Quinn has tossed 168.2 innings in 23 starts, fanned 122 batters, walked 54 and put up a 2.99 ERA with 12 wins and 8 losses. | |
