Cleveland first baseman Andy Babel made his presence felt in the 9-2 Foresters triumph over the New York Imperials. Babel was 2 for 5 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 times and drove in 4. The 4th-place Foresters go to 46-54.

Babel contributed a big hit, a 3-run home run, for Cleveland in the bottom of the third. With his team trailing 2-1, Babel took a splitter from Emmett Thornton and stroked the home run to left. His 7th home run of the season allowed the Foresters to leap in front, 4-2.

"Solid performance from our side," said Foresters manager Ray Parsons.
