Suns Suffer 5-3 Road Loss
The Minneapolis Millers topped the Los Angeles Suns, 5-3, in Federal Association action at Hennepin County Stadium. The game was highlighted by the performance of Minneapolis pitcher Hub Huffman. Minneapolis is now 46-52, Los Angeles 53-48.

The Millers got a big at-bat from left fielder Malcom Bronk. For the game, Bronk went 3 for 4 with a double and 2 singles, while adding 3 RBI. In the bottom of the fourth, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 2-run double. His 5th double of the season gave Minneapolis a 3-2 lead.

"Obviously, you want to go out there and be good every time out," said Huffman. "I take the ball every day with the same mindset."
