| Scott Deals St. Louis 8-1 Setback | Bob Scott, who is tied for 9th in the FA with a 2.93 ERA, was terrific for the Boston Minutemen in his team's 8-1 triumph over the St. Louis Pioneers. His performance earned Scott rave reviews. The win puts Boston at 37-58.
Scott was in the zone, shutting down St. Louis hitters over 7.1 innings. Scott, who threw 105 pitches, allowed no runs on 1 hit. He also tallied 4 punchouts.
