| Gothams Tag Clippers with 6-1 Loss | The New York Gothams rode a solid performance from 30-year-old starting pitcher Bunny Mullins to a win, beating the Baltimore Clippers, 6-1, at Gotham Stadium. With the win, the Gothams have a record of 52-46.
The Gothams got a big at-bat from shortstop Sam Hamilton. For the game, Hamilton went 3 for 4 with a home run and a triple, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2. In the bottom of the fourth, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 8th home run of the season gave New York a 2-0 lead.
