| Gothams Absorb 3-0 Home Loss | In a low-scoring tilt between the Minneapolis Millers and the New York Gothams, Hub Huffman, who is tied for 8th in the FA in quality starts with 14, was the difference-maker. The Minneapolis right-hander spearheaded the 3-0 win. Ben Baird recorded the save, making him 15 for 20. Today's win puts Minneapolis at 47-50, while New York falls to 44-53.
Carl Kilkenny, who is tied for 5th in the FA in runs scored with 61, had a direct impact on the outcome. Kilkenny contributed a 2-run home run in the top of the third inning to put Minneapolis up, 3-0.
"Hub had himself a pretty good evening," said Minneapolis manager Bill Bryan.
