| Gothams Drop Suns, 3-1 | New York took on Los Angeles in a contest which featured a pitchers' duel. Curtis Robinson, in particular, was fantastic. The right-hander helped the Gothams snag the win, 3-1, in 10 innings. New York, at 50-46, holds down third place in the Federal Association East.
New York got a knockout punch from Jon Horton. The shortstop hammered a 2-run home run in the bottom of the tenth inning to win the game. It might've been his only hit, but it decided the outcome.
"We think we're a good team overall, so we're not too surprised to win today," said Robinson.
