Stars Snatch Late Win
Despite a great performance by Cleveland first baseman Andy Babel, the Los Angeles Stars defeated the Foresters by the score of 4-3 in 13 innings at Bigsby Stadium. Babel was 3-4 with a home run, a double, and 2 walks, while scoring 2 times. Los Angeles's record now stands at 56-38, placing them first in the Continental Association West.

The Stars got a clutch hit from left fielder Paul Richardson. In the bottom of the 13th, he hit a run-scoring single to center, to win the game for the Stars.

"There's a warrior mentality with this team," said Stars manager Charley McCullough.
