| Gothams Pocket 7-4 Win Against Houston | New York Gothams starter Curtis Robinson pitched well against the Houston Comets at Gotham Stadium, leading his team to a win, 7-4. Robinson got the win, improving to 7-9. He gave up 9 hits and walked 2 over 8.2 innings. He allowed 4 runs. The Gothams improved their record to 43-52 with the win over Houston.
Earl Ferry had a big 2-run home run for the Gothams in the bottom of the sixth inning. With New York leading 3-2 and a runner on 1st, he sized up a sinker from Jay Hunt, who leads the FA with a 2.13 ERA, and punished it. The result was his 7th home run of the season, which put the Gothams on top, 5-2.
