| Clippers Win, 6-4, Versus St. Louis | Baltimore catcher Hank Wallace had a 4-RBI game, leading his team in its 6-4 defeat of the St. Louis Pioneers. Wallace picked up 1 single and 2 doubles in the ballgame. The winner was Roy Brandt in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Roy McDonald took the loss. With the win over St. Louis, the Clippers improved to 44-49.
Wallace had a game-changing double in the top of the ninth. On a 0-1 fastball from Roy McDonald, he banged a bases-clearing double to left, giving the Clippers a 6-4 lead. It was the 20th double of the year for Wallace.
