| 7 Straight Wins for Chiefs | Chicago Chiefs starter Nate Carr pitched a strong game against the Philadelphia Keystones at Liberty Coliseum, leading the Chiefs to victory, 7-4. Philadelphia's current losing streak is now 4 games.
There was more than one reason the Chiefs beat the Keystones, but Carr's big at-bat in the top of the fourth was an important factor. He staked his team to a 5-1 lead when he hit a grand slam home run.
"Nate had good arm action, good stuff," said Chicago manager Ollie Howard. | |
