Dallas registered a win at Dominion Stadium by beating the Toronto Wolves, 5-2. Pitcher Ed Smith was one reason why the Wranglers triumphed. Johnny Manning closed the door for Dallas, picking up his 2nd save of the year. With this game in the books, Dallas is 53-39, Toronto 43-48.

With one out in the top of the fourth, Slick Dunn put Dallas in front, 1-0, with a run-scoring single. The Wranglers went on to win the ballgame.
