The Toronto Wolves trumped the Chicago Cougars, 10-5, at Dominion Stadium. Toronto right fielder Les Reid was terrific. He was 3 for 4 with 3 singles, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. The winner was Al Bailey, who threw 95 pitches over 5.1 innings. The left-hander was charged with 5 runs on 6 hits. Toronto is now 43-47. Chicago is 38-57.

Though it wasn't a flawless game -- few are -- the fans who filled the stands at Dominion Stadium seemed to enjoy watching the Continental Association action.
