Mead Silences Milwaukee Bats
Jack Mead, who is tied for 6th in the CA with a 2.65 ERA, was brilliant in helping Dallas beat the Milwaukee Arrows, 5-0. The Arrows, at 47-39, have lost 6 straight games.

Mead, who dominated for Dallas, earned the victory to move to 7-5. He was in control the whole game, scattering 2 hits over 8.2 innings, while striking out 4. Milwaukee batters could never bunch up enough hits to produce a rally.

"I've been criticized for being a slacker, but the one thing I do care about is winning," Mead told the Dallas Daily News.
