| Cannons Bridle Kings, 3-1 | The Cincinnati Cannons went home winners at Tice Memorial Stadium II, thanks in large part to starter Herm Quinn. Quinn stifled the Seattle Kings, enabling Cincinnati to grab the 3-1 win. The Cannons sport a record of 36-55.
Walter Huckaby had a critical at-bat with two out in the bottom of the sixth for Cincinnati. He came through with a run-scoring single to put Cincinnati in front, 2-0.
"At the end of the day, it's always about your starting pitcher," said Cincinnati skipper Charlie Britton.
