No one was more impactful than Carlos Jaramillo in the 12-5 Cleveland win over Seattle. Jaramillo, who finished 5th in the CA in wins above replacement with 6.9 in 1964, was 3-4 with a double, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2. Roy Rice, the winner, is now 11-6. He struck out 3 and walked 3 over 6 innings, while allowing 3 runs on 4 hits. Cleveland has now won 5 in a row.

Though it wasn't a flawless game -- few are -- the fans who filled the stands at Forester Stadium seemed to enjoy watching the Continental Association action.

"In baseball, you have your ups and downs," said Seattle manager Alex Watt. "You just try to stay level-headed the whole time."
