| Millers Lose Contest, 5-2 | Boston Minutemen starter Johnny Baylor pitched his team past the Minneapolis Millers, 5-2. At 46-40, the Minutemen find themselves in second place in the Federal Association East.
Boston used the hitting of Adam Byrd to pick up the win. The third baseman clubbed a 3-run home run in the top of the sixth inning to put the Minutemen on top, 5-2. For the game, Byrd had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
"Johnny was really attacking guys' weaknesses and he didn't leave a lot of balls over the plate," said Boston field general Dode Edwards.
