| Wranglers Get Clutch Win Versus Montreal | The Dallas Wranglers got a stellar performance from pitcher Pete Rosenbaum, who handcuffed the Montreal offense en route to a win, 3-2, at Norris Stadium. Dallas reliever Johnny Manning picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Miguel Hernandez absorbed the loss. The 5th-place Wranglers have won 4 in a row.
Pete Lee was the walk-off hero for Dallas. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Wranglers pinch hitter hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
"We couldn't have scripted it any better," Lee said in his postgame press conference. | |
