The 9-5 Dallas win over Toronto was due in large part to Joe Black. The Wranglers left fielder was 4-5 with a home run and 3 singles. He scored 2 times and drove in 3. Dallas has now won 6 in a row.

With Dallas leading 4-2 in the bottom of the sixth, Black batted against Toronto pitcher Phil Colantuono. Black hit a fastball to center for a 3-run home run. His 7th home run of the season put the Wranglers on top, 7-2.
