At Forester Stadium, the Los Angeles Stars and Cleveland Foresters were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd.

The Cleveland Foresters topped the Los Angeles Stars, 5-3, in Continental Association action at Forester Stadium. The game was highlighted by the performance of Cleveland second baseman Herb Reed. Charlie Sawyer was the winner. Over 8 innings, he yielded 3 runs on 11 hits, with 1 walk and 3 strikeouts.

First Baseman Andy Babel made an impact for Cleveland, when he swatted a run-scoring double off Bill Dunham in the bottom of the fifth. For the contest, Babel was 2 for 5 with a double, while scoring 2 runs.
