| Seattle Grabs 5-1 Road Win | The Seattle Kings downed the Los Angeles Stars, 5-1, at Bigsby Stadium. Stellar pitching by Danny Anderson had a lot to do with it. The left-hander handcuffed his opponent all game. Anderson picked up the win for Seattle, going 6 innings. He gave up 1 run on 6 hits. He now sports a record of 7-4. Seattle has an impressive 57-28 record.
Bob Glowacki dealt the Stars a blow in the top of the fifth. Batting with a runner on 2nd and Seattle leading 2-1, Glowacki, who is tied for 6th in the CA with a .868 OPS, hit a full count changeup for a run-scoring single.
"I'm just out there trying to have as much fun as I can while I'm playing," Glowacki told the Seattle Citizen.
