| Brantley Pitches Toronto to Shutout Victory | "That was one of my best outings," said Amos Brantley. "I was worried a lot in the bullpen. My ball wasn't quite right. Luckily, it can be two different worlds -- the bullpen and the game. Once I stepped on the field, it all fell into place."
It was an impressive start for the Beavers hurler. He blanked the Lancers, 2-0, on a strong 1-hitter while ringing up 10 strikeouts and doling out 2 walks.
Thus far this season, Brantley has posted a 24-10 record, started 38 games, struck out 204 batters in 340 innings and compiled a 1.72 ERA. | |
