Bob Albertson did all he could to help his team win. In the end, though, it wasn't enough to keep the Cleveland Grays from being beaten, 6-4, to the Pittsburgh Mechanics at Euclid Avenue Park. Albertson went 4-5 with a double and 3 singles, while adding 3 RBI. With the win, Pittsburgh upped its record to 71-70.

With one out in the top of the third, Dobie Barton put Pittsburgh in front, 3-1, with a 2-run single. The Mechanics went on to win the ballgame.

"I'm just looking to see the ball, hit the ball," said Barton.
