Whipple on Fire: 6-for-7 for Baltimore
Baltimore right fielder Harry Whipple could do no wrong in his team's 16-14 win over the Dynamos, as he collected 6 hits.

"Things were in his favor in every one of his at-bats," Dynamos skipper Leonard Ziegler said to the press corps after the game. "He got hitters' counts."

Whipple agreed, saying that getting ahead early in the counts was "the key" to his game.

"Once you get ahead, it makes it a lot easier because you get a better pitch to hit," he said. "You know the pitcher has to come in with it. And you're ready."

Harry Whipple singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, tripled in the 6th, singled in the 8th, grounded out in the 9th and hit a two-run single in the 10th.

This season, Whipple has hit at a .360 clip with 41 RBIs, 3 home runs and 35 runs scored. He has played in 58 games.
