| Minutemen Win at Home, 8-3 | Dedicated fans weathered the storm to watch their beloved Minutemen beat the Pioneers.
Boston right-hander Bob Hollister pitched his team to victory over the St. Louis Pioneers at Minuteman Stadium. The final score was 8-3. In 7 innings, Hollister surrendered 6 hits, while striking out 7 and walking 2. He allowed 2 runs.
