| Wolves Paste 9-2 Loss on Wranglers | Toronto and Dallas got after it at Norris Stadium.
Toronto starter Don Bradner kept the Dallas hitters in check, while his team cruised to a win, 9-2. The winner was Bradner. He threw 6.0 innings of 5-hit ball. The loser was Ed Smith.
Toronto used the timely hitting of Dwayne Cleaves to seize the win. The center fielder stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the seventh inning to put the Wolves on top, 4-2. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
"Solid game, solid win tonight," said a smiling Bradner.
Toronto sits at 15-14. | |
