| Imperials Best Wolves in Pitching Duel | Frank Williams brought his A-game to help New York defeat the Toronto Wolves, 2-1. The Imperials raised their record to 15-17.
Jack Woods, the New York pinch hitter, contributed a run-scoring single in the bottom of the sixth inning to make the score 2-1, Imperials. For the game, Woods went 1 for 1.
"Frank was doing a good job pouring in strikes," said New York manager Bud Jameson.
