The Los Angeles Stars picked up a win at Forester Stadium, knocking off the Cleveland Foresters, 5-2. Starting pitcher Vean Conrad played a key role in the triumph. Picking up his 5th save was fan favorite Jackie Thompson. Cleveland, with the loss, is 11-13.
