Prairie Park played host to some real drama.

The performance of Ben Crawford proved critical in helping Kansas City beat Montreal, 7-6, in 10 innings. The Kings left fielder was 2-4 with a home run and 2 walks. He scored 2 times. The losses continue to add up for Montreal, having now dropped 11 straight.

The Kings got a clutch hit from center fielder Charlie Rogers. In the bottom of the tenth, he hit a run-scoring single to right, to win the game for the Kings.

"If it can go wrong, it will go wrong," said Lynn Gray, the Montreal manager.
