The Minneapolis Millers picked up a win at Hennepin County Stadium, knocking off the St. Louis Pioneers, 5-4. On the mound for Minneapolis was right-hander Bill Smith. He played a key role in the triumph. So far in 1962, Minneapolis is 25-38.
