Vaughan, Knights Get 9-0 Win | Pitcher Sam Vaughan was sensational for the Los Angeles Knights in his team's 9-0 triumph over the Seattle Thunderbirds. Vaughan picked up the win, and it was well-earned. Los Angeles has now won 4 straight, while the Thunderbirds have lost 6 in a row.
Vaughan, a native of Portsmouth, Virginia, was dealing all game. He kept Seattle hitters off-balance, while giving the Knights 8 quality innings. Vaughan threw 131 pitches, allowing 2 hits and striking out 7.
