San Diego Gets Riveting Walk-Off Win | The San Diego Conquistadors managed to get by the Dallas Centurions, 2-1, at Langley Field. San Diego pitcher Tommy Anderson set himself apart with his performance. Anderson went the distance for San Diego. He gave up 1 run on 5 hits. The Conquistadors saw their win-loss record go to 35-44. At the same time, the Centurions fell to 38-41.
Dick Richardson was the walk-off hero for San Diego. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Conquistadors second baseman hit a dramatic solo home run to send the teams home.
