The Boston Minutemen handed the Minneapolis Millers a loss at Hennepin County Stadium. The final score was 6-4. Major production was provided by Charlie Hartsell for Boston. Hartsell had a game-changing home run in the top of the ninth. On a 2-2 fastball from Jack Green, he banged a 2-run home run to left, giving the Minutemen a 6-4 lead. It was the 1st home run of the year for Hartsell.

"We're not really clicking on anything right now," said Minneapolis manager Harry Hammond.
