Hawks Win at Dallas, 5-1 | Conditions were not ideal but San Francisco and Dallas were able to put their game in the books.
Mike Milne was locked and loaded, helping the San Francisco Hawks beat the Dallas Centurions, 5-1. With the win, San Francisco raised its record to 37-34.
San Francisco first baseman Pete Frisbie contributed a timely at-bat in the top of the fifth. With two down, he hit a splitter into right field for a 2-run single. It was his 72nd hit of the season and put the Hawks ahead, 4-1.
"We'll savor this win," Frisbie told the San Francisco News, "then get ready for the next game." | |
