Millers Deal Minutemen 6-2 Defeat
The Minneapolis Millers got a good effort from starter Don Hillshire in defeating the Boston Minutemen at Minuteman Stadium. The final score was 6-2. The Millers raised their record to 23-37.

Minneapolis used a clutch at-bat from Don Coe to capture the win. The catcher hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the fourth inning to put the Millers ahead, 6-2. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.

"Winning never gets dull," said Coe.
