| Edwards Leads Pittsburgh Past Toronto | Casey Edwards, who is tied for 6th in the UL in quality starts with 27, was in top form in a tight contest between Pittsburgh and Toronto. The Mechanics left-hander helped his team beat the Beavers, 2-1. Pittsburgh has 3 straight wins, Toronto 3 straight losses.
Edwards was effective against the Beavers, seldom allowing a hard-hit ball. The left-hander limited Toronto to just 1 run on 3 hits over 8.1 innings.
