The Seattle Thunderbirds beat the San Francisco Hawks, 5-3, at Thunderbird Park. Bob Grabowski, in particular, was impressive. He was 1 for 2 with a home run and 2 walks. He scored 2 times. The win has Seattle at 16-32.
Had Austin Moore not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and the bases loaded, Moore hit a 2-run single. That made the score 5-3, in favor of the Thunderbirds.
