Late Heroics Net Gothams 5-4 Win | The New York Gothams picked up a win at Gotham Stadium, taking down the Washington Eagles, 5-4, in 10 innings. On the mound for New York was right-hander Chuck Kleiman. He played a central role in the triumph. The Gothams, at 27-34, sit in 6th place in the Federal Association.
The Gothams got a clutch hit from third baseman Frank Arnold. In the bottom of the tenth, he hit a run-scoring single to center, to win the game for the Gothams.
