| Wolves Collect 6-4 Win Over Mavericks | The Toronto Wolves picked up a win at Prairie Park, taking down the Kansas City Mavericks, 6-4, in 14 innings. On the mound for Toronto was left-hander Al Bailey. He played a central role in the triumph. Bob Estes picked up the win in relief for Toronto, while John Condon took the loss. With the win, Toronto boosts its record to 13-13.
Babe Harris provided a timely hit. The Toronto left fielder delivered a run-scoring triple in the top of the 14th inning to put the Wolves on top, 5-4. It was his only hit in the game, but he made it count.
