| Cannons Rally For Late Win Over Wolves | The Cincinnati Cannons picked up a win at Dominion Stadium, downing the Toronto Wolves, 4-3. On the mound for Cincinnati was right-hander Herm Quinn, who played a pivotal role in the win. The Wolves fall to 9-13 and continue their wobbly start to the 1975 season.
Bob Bell came through with a big-time hit for Cincinnati. The pinch hitter smacked a 2-run home run in the top of the eighth inning to give his team the lead, 4-3. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.
"I really like what we did out there today," Bell said after the game. | |
